Fine Motor Skills

Create, explore, and strengthen little hands through simple, hands-on play.

Materials Needed:

Playdough (2–3 colours)
Pasta (for threading + cutting)
Child-safe scissors
Playdough tools (stamps, rollers, hammer)
Imagination

How to Play:

Cut - Snip rolled “snakes” of playdough into small pieces.

Thread - Use a ball of playdough with a piece of dried spaghetti. Thread pasta onto it to build a tower.

Hammer + Stamp - Press, tap, or hammer playdough to create textures and shapes — or turn it into a fun counting game.

Play Tips:

There’s no right or wrong way to play
Name actions like cut, push, thread, and count to build language.
Focus on squeezing, rolling, and pressing to strengthen little hands.
