Delivery and Shipping Times

Local Delivery

We offer free delivery to the Bellarine Peninsula and Geelong area on orders over $50. For orders under $50, a delivery fee of $8.95 applies. Local deliveries are scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays. Your order will be delivered on the next available delivery day.

With local delivery, parcels will be left without signature if no one is home. We will ensure you are notified of this delivery.

International Shipping

We do not offer shipping outside Australia. However, we specialise in delivering gifts within Australia to friends and family of international customers.

Standard Shipping

FLAT RATE $12.95 shipping on orders under $250.

FREE STANDARD shipping on orders $250 and over.

Additional shipping charges may be incurred for large and heavy items and deliveries to remote locations with Australia. Any additional charges due to the size of the item, will be clearly marked in the product description. You will be shown the shipping rate prior to any payment information being required.

Local:

Local deliveries are scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays. Your order will be delivered on the next available delivery day.

Domestic shipping:

Most parcels are sent via Australia Post. We do not have any control over delivery times once your order has left The Kid Cave. However, for guidance please see below (As per Australia Post Website):

  • Delivery within VIC– 2-4 business days.
  • Delivery within NSW – 4 -6 business days.
  • Delivery with ACT – 4 – 6 business days.
  • Delivery within TAS – 5 8 business days.
  • Delivery with QLD – 5-8 business days.
  • Delivery with SA – 5-12 business days.
  • Delivery with WA – 8-12 business days.
  • Delivery with NT – 8-12 business days.

The above timeframes should be used as a GUIDE ONLY and cannot be guaranteed.

Express shipping

  • Express shipping will be shown as an option at checkout for most orders.
  • Order before 10am to allow us to get your parcel in the mail the same day. Orders made after 10am with express shipping may be posted the next business day.
  • Australia Post Express Post is usually an overnight delivery service. However, this may change due to demand within Australia Post. Please refer to Australia Post website for Express Post area. The Kid Cave is located on the Bellarine, Victoria 3222.

Handling

  • We endeavor to have all orders shipped within 1 business day of receiving the order. On non-business days, orders are shipped the following business day.
  • During peak periods, such as sale events and Christmas period, please allow 3-5 business days for dispatch.
  • Please note, we are unable to make any changes to your order once processing had commenced.
  • Stock is subject to availability. Although we aim to ensure the information on our website if correct, we reserve the right to change pricing and availability to its correct form if found to be incorrect.

Urgent Orders

We will always do our very best to get your order to you as soon as possible. If you urgently need an item, we recommend selecting the express shipping option. You can also contact us at info@thekidcave.com.au, and we will do our very best to hurry it along.

Order Tracking

  • We mostly use Australia Post E-parcels for our deliveries. When your parcel is dispatched, you will be sent a confirmation email with the tracking number. This tracking number is scanned during the delivery process, and you will be able to track the delivery status using the tracking number.
  • Our parcels require a signature upon delivery.
